LEFORT, ELLA E. (TAYLOR) The passing of Ella Evelyn LeFort of Fredericton occurred at Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton, on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Everett (Sr.) and Ella (West) Taylor. Ella was a member of the Christian Reform Church and loved the outdoors enjoying her camping and fishing trips on the Miramichi. Surviving are three daughters, Joyce Burtt (Ralph) of Fredericton, Marion Fudge of Calgary and Florence Currie (Paul) of Nashwaak Bridge, NB; one sister, Edna Knowlton of Vancouver; three granddaughters, Carol Lynch (Budd), Rev. Dr. Cindi Chenard (Jacques) and Jill Taylor (Chris); two grandsons, Robert "Bob" Burtt (Suzanne) and Mark Currie (Shelley); five great grandchildren, Andrew, Laura, Catherine, Isaac and Emma; several nieces and nephews. Ella is predeceased by her parents; husband Thomas Charles LeFort; a daughter Ella May; and four brothers, Roy, Everett, Edgar and Sterling Taylor. Visitation will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Friday, December 14, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment in the Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
