Peter Lewis Peter James Lewis, 62, of Lewis Mountain passed away Thursday December 13, 2007 at the Moncton Hospital Born in Moncton he was a son of the late Ralph and Nellie Lewis. Peter was a retired Carman with CNR having worked in Moncton and Winnipeg and was a member of the Lewis Mountain Baptist Church. He will be missed by his loving companion, Freda Smith; his daughter, Nancy-Jo Plourde (Bradford) of Winnipeg; his son, Lance (Jacqueline) of Monteagle; grandchildren, Morgan and Amy Lewis, Randi-Joe and Reyann Plourde; a sister, Helen Lewis of Monteagle; brothers, Ronald (Muriel) of Salisbury, Kermit (Betty) of Petitcodiac, Grant (Kaye) of Milton Ontario. Survived also by an aunt; several nieces, nephews and cousins, brothers and sisters in law. Predeceased by his wife, Nancy; a sister, Annie Budd and brothers Omer and Clayton. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Lewis Mountain Baptist Church on Tuesday December 18 at 2 p.m. Interment at Monteagle Cemetery at a later date.
