THORNE, KEVIN GEORGE - Of Rotary Court passed away peacefully at his residence on December 1, 2007 at the age of 50. He was born in Welsford, NB and was the son of Madelyn Thorne and the late Edward Thorne. Kevin was a carpenter by trade and worked for Regency Construction as well as various companies throughout North America. He was a member of the carpenter's union local # 1386 for 17 years. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Ryan Thorne (Amy) and Patrick Gordon; two brothers, Hardie Thorne (Charlene) and Geoffrey Thorne (Joanne); one sister, Marsha Thorne; as well as one granddaughter, Grace; and one grandson, Roman. Resting at Cavanagh Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Tuesday, December 4th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 5th at 11 am in Cavanagh's Chapel followed by a reception. Cremation and a private family internment will take place at a later date in the Welsford Cemetery.
