Leonard William WHITE

WHITE, LEONARD WILLIAM The passing of Leonard William White of Keswick, N.B, husband of June (Holmes) (Randall) White, occurred on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 20, 1934, he was the son of the late William and Lena (Randall) White. Leonard was self employed with a construction business in Keswick. Leonard enjoyed farming, attending horse hauls and trips to the Brookside Mall to meet with friends. Besides his wife, Leonard is survived by three daughters, Jane (George) Dean of Fredericton, N.B, Laurie (Errol) James of Fort McMurray, AB, Susan (Timothy) Booker of Burtts Corner, NB; seven grandchildren, Angeline (Patrick) Rutter, Alexia Dean (James Seymour), Avery Dean, Jessica James, Devon James, Amy (Joey) Whalen, Lacey Booker (Paul Collier); two great grandchildren, Nolan Rutter, Jayden James; one brother, Kenneth Whyte (Gail) of PEI; one sister, Lorraine Home and the late Stuart of Burtts Corner, NB; two step daughters, Barbara Randall of Amherst, NS, Marilyn (Alden) Brewer of Fredericton, NB; three step grandchildren, Robin Brewer (Rachel Morehouse), Jason Brewer (Marjorie Barker), Justin Brewer (Kayla Hunt); two step great grandchildren, Rachel and Katelyn Brewer; many nieces and nephews. Leonard was also survived by his special dog, "Minnie". Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 1 pm from Burtts Corner Baptist Church with Rev. David Wellwood officiating. Interment will take place in the Keswick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Kidney Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.
