BERTRAND, Fernand - 1920-2007 - La famille annonce avec tristesse son décès le mardi 20 novembre 2007, à l'âge de 87 ans. Prédécédé par son épouse Florence (née Martin) en 1991. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Claude (Dianne) d'Almonte, Richard (Suzanne) de Matheson, Louise (Earl) de Val Gagné et Gil (Madeleine) de Timmins, ses petits-enfants Shona, Jamie (Tanya), Jonathan (Ada), Matthew, Jeffrey, Karry-Ann, Céline (décédée 2006), André (Mélanie), Mélanie (Jason), Julie, René (Kerri) et Lee- Ann (Ryan), arrière-grand-père de Jacob, Megan, Daniella, Justin, Kylee, Kayla, Emma, Gavin, Mitchel, Max, Leo et Lily et son frère George Bertrand de Timmins. Fernand était Vétéran de la 2ième Guerre Mondiale et membre de la Légion Royale Canadienne Br. 88, Timmins. Il aimait passer son temps au chalet avec sa famille. La famille désire remercier chaleureusement les infirmières et le personnel du Golden Manor pour les excellents soins donnés à leur père, Fernand. La messe des funérailles aura lieu vendredi 23 novembre 2007 à 10h30 à la Cathédral St-Antoine de Padoue. L'inhumation suivra au cimetière Mémorial de Timmins. Au lieu des fleurs, les dons faits à l'oeuvre de votre choix seront grandement appréciés. Dear grandfather of Shona, Jamie (Tanya), Jonathan (Ada), Matthew, Jeffrey, Karry-Ann, late Céline (2006), André (Mélanie), Mélanie (Jason), Julie, René (Kerri) and Lee-Ann (Ryan). Great-grandfather of Jacob, Megan, Daniella, Justin, Kylee, Kayla, Emma, Gavin, Mitchel, Max, Leo and Lily. He is also survived by his brother George Bertrand of Timmins. Fernand was a WWII Veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 88 Timmins. He enjoyed life at the Cottage with his family. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Nurses and staff at the Golden Manor for all the excellent care given to Fernand. Funeral service will be held on Friday November 23, 2007 at 10:30 am at St-Anthony's Cathedral. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
