ENGELS, Jan Nicolaas - Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of 42 years to Lucette. Cherished father of Christine Elliott and her husband Darrell of North Carolina and Dinie Engels and her husband Geoff Maina of Belleville. Proud grandfather of Nicholas and Oliver and; of North Carolina, Jeffery, Cami, Ryan and Brendan and great grandfather of Jeffery Scott, Caylie and Chaslie. Dear brother of Rikie and Dinie, both of Holland. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Saturday, December 22, 2007 to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (1111 Taylor Kidd Boulevard) for Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm, the Reverend Father Leo Byrne officiating. Cremation to follow. The family extends an invitation for all to a reception at the James Reid Reception Centre, following the funeral mass.
