Diane Watson-Deroy 1956-2007 In hospital at Angus, Ontario, December 15, 2007, Diane Watson-Deroy passed away suddenly at the age of 51 years. She was the wife of Eddy Deroy, formerly of Montreal. Born at Toronto in 1956, she was the daughter of Cedric Watson and Jeannine Soucy-Watson. Diane was originally from Grand Falls, New Brunswick. Diane worked at Borden Air Force Base at St-Joseph's and Trinity Chapels as an Administrative Assistant to the Base Chaplains and Padres for many years. She would have put in 25 years as a Federal Employee and she was to retire in 2 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to her granddaughter Chloe Elizabeth Deroy-Blodgett who turned 1 year old last October 8th. She will be sadly missed by so many. She is survived by her husband Eddy Deroy (who is a retired military with 22 years service but continued to work as a teacher on Borden AFB as an ACS Aircraft Structure Technician), one daughter, Sara Lindsay Deroy and her partner, Nathan Blodgett and their daughter 1 year-old Chloe Elizabeth Deroy-Blodgett, Barrie, Ontario; her mother, Jeannine Soucy-Watson, Grand Falls; one brother, Steven Watson (partner Lorraine Goudreau), Grand Falls; sister-in-law, Solange Corbin-Watson, Saint-Leonard; brother-in-law, Pierre Tardie, Montreal; nieces: Cindy Watson, Toronto, Ontario, Sheri Watson, Grand Falls, step-niece, Sarah Pilgrim and one nephew, Jesse Shannon. She was predeceased by her father, Cedric Watson and her brother, Charlie Watson. Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced. www.oregans.ca
