Alfred Rhéaume, of Hearst The service for longtime Hearst resident Alfred Rhéaume, 85, was held Oct. 15, 2007 following his death Oct. 12. Born Dec. 18, 1921 in St-Alphonse, Québec, he came to the area around 1940. A logger, he last worked in the Caramat area. Generous in donating his time, he enjoyed doing manual work. He leaves his sisters Juliette Dumas of Thunder Bay and Germaine Bolduc of Longlac as well as many nieces and nephews. Rev. Rémi Lessard directed the service at Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption Cathedral.
