Blaise Boulanger, of Hearst The funeral service for Hearst resident Blaise Boulanger, 83, of George St is to be held this afternoon, Oct. 24, 2007. He died Oct. 20 at Notre-Dame Hospital. He was born Nov. 6, 1923 at Ste-Honoré, Beauce, Québec. Predeceased by five brothers, he leaves his wife Clara (née Rice) Boulanger, a daughter Rachel Boulanger, sisters Leda and Anne-Marie, and brothers Lauréat and Évariste Boulanger. Rev. Rémi Lessard is to direct the 4:15 p.m. service at Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption Cathedral. Commemorative donations may be made to the cancer society.
