Erma Winnifred Bowen, Temiskaming Lodge resident, died there October 7, 2007 at the age of 72. She was born January 15, 1935 to Elsie and Merton Bowen. She is survived by family members Verla (husband Robert Mallett) of Brampton, Norma (husband Glen Ball) of Lindsay, Shirley (husband Harry Leach) of Bowmanville, James Bowen (wife Shirley Kirkby) of Lake Cowichan, British Columbia, and Brian Bowen of Gibsons, B.C.; and by many nieces, nephews and many acquaintances. Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Temiskaming Shores on October 17 at 7:30 p.m. A private interment will be held at the New Liskeard Cemetery.
