Juliette Garand nee: Charpentier, of Kapuskasing Juliette Garand of Kapuskasing, died at Extendicare Nursing Home on November 18, 2007. Ms Garand was born on July 6, 1943 in Moonbeam. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and knitting. She is survived by two children, Edith Bisson (Daniel) of Kapuskasing and André of Trois-Rivières; six sisters, Thérèse Nolet of Gatineau, Marguerite Nadeau, Ange-Aimé Nadeau, Salomé Veilleux, Monique Séguin and Julienne Desbiens, all of Kapuskasing, as well as four grandchildren, Émilia, Alexandre, Yanique and Penelope. Ms Garand was predeceased by her husband, Clément; four brothers, Joseph, Jules, Gérard and Bernard Charpentier and one sister, Madeleine Boudreau. Father Gilles Gosselin will officiate at the funeral service Friday, November 23, 2007 at Immaculée Conception at 2:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Sensenbrenner Hospital or the Canadian Liver Foundation. Funeral director was Guenette Funeral Home.
