Florence ELLISON

Florence King of Anishnabie Long Term Care Centre, Notre Dame du Nord, Temiscaming First Nation, Quebec, died on November 19, 2007. She was born in Notre Dame du Nord to William and Ann (Beads) Ellison and married John King there May 4, 1939. Educated in Quebec, Mrs. King was a housewife who was kind, gentle and a private person. A member of Temiskaming Shores congregation of Jehovah’s Witness, she moved to New Liskeard in 1975. Mrs. King was predeceased by her husband on May 1, 1988 at the Temiskaming Hospital; son Joseph; and grandson Joseph Villneff. She is survived by her daughter Margaret Villneff (Norman), nieces Peggy King and Judy (Cookie) King. The funeral was arranged by Perrin Funeral Chapel where the service was conducted by Eric Vensen and funeral director Serge McLean. Burial is at the New Liskeard Cemetery. Relatives and friends from Quebec and Ontario attended the service.
