TAYLOR, Sophie Helen (Zamojski) - In loving memory of Sophie Helene Taylor (Zamojski) 87 years who passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord, with her loving family by her side, December 24, 2007. Loving wife of Ernest Taylor Sr., predeceased in 1970. Born in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Zamojski. Survived by her children Rosalie (Gus) of Edmonton Alberta, Juanita (Bill) and Ernest (Hilkka) both of Dowling, Erna (Larry) of Pasadena California, Donna (Jim) of Peterborough and Anne-Marie of Winnipeg Manitoba. Survived by sisters Mary Shanks, Dartmouth, N.S., and Annie Banks, Moncton, N.B. Predeceased by brothers Stan and Joseph Zamojski and sisters Rose Hartling and Josephine Ranger. Survived by grandchildren, Trina, Sean, Lindsay, Kara, Ken, Phadra, Tiffany, Bill Jr., Ernest Jr., JoDee and Stephanie. Survived by great- grandchildren Anna Maria, Donna, Sarah, Cody, Shallyn, Paige, Riddick, Tavis and Jason. At Sophie's request there will be no visitation or service. Donations may be made to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation. Sophie was known for her devotion to her family, she was happiest surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren and delighted in everything they did. She was also a tireless volunteer worker with the Royal Canadian Legion Onaping Branch 503 for over forty years. You can close your eyes to things you do not want to see, But, you cannot close your heart to things you do not want to feel. We will miss you so much our dearest Mom, Nana.
