Alice Blais of Kapuskasing, died at North Centennial Manor on December 15, 2007. Mrs. Blais was born on April 17, 1918 in Quebec. She is survived by two daughters, Louisette Parent (André) and Lucille Blais, both of Kapuskasing ; four sisters, sister Lucille Levesque, sister Laurette Levesque, both of North Bay, Gertrude Grenon and Claire Bolduc (Ludger), both of Timmins ; two sisters-in-law, Rose and Rhéa Levesque of Timmins ; six brothers, Marc (Réjeanne), Laurent (Yvonne), Roger (Denise), Amedé (Claudette), Pierre (Martine), all of Timmins and André Levesque (Fe) of Toronto ; two grandsons, Marc-André and Luc as well as three great-grandchildren, Christian, Mathieu and Arianne. Mrs. Blais was predeceased by her husband, Louis, her parents Jean-Baptiste and Lydia Levesque, one sister, sister Marie-Marthe Levesque, three brothers, Paul, Robert and Raymond and one sister-in-law, Huguette. Father Gilles Gosselin will officiate the funeral service today at 11 a.m. at Immaculée Conception Church. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society . Funeral director was Guenette Funeral Home.
