Virginia Mae Fee (nee Painter) of London died peacefully at University Hospital on Monday December 24, 2007 in her 88th year. She was predeceased by her husbands Robert Fee (1985) and Earl Tapping (1958), her grandson Morgan, sister June Watt and brother Carl Painter. She is survived by her children Jeff Tapping (Sally) of Aurora, Wendy Sandwith (Paul) of London, Jane Geng (late Abbey) of Edmonton, Dan Tapping (Cathie) of London, Ginny Price (Al) of Calgary, Julie Kowal (Gary) of London and her grandchildren Joel, Ben, Jamie, Robert, Laura, Rob, Andrew, Jodi, Jeffrey, Scott, Torey, Josie, Allie, Danielle, Jocelyne, Candyce, Hailey and Parker and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Doris Paterson and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to acknowledge the special people in her life who made each day a little brighter. They would also like to thank the staff on the Acute Stroke Unit Floor at University Hospital. Her beautiful outlook on life was a gift for all who knew her. Visitation was held at the Westview Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 28 followed by interment on December 29 at Woodland Cemetery. Donations in her memory to the Canadian Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths, Downs Syndrome Foundation or the Boys’ and Girls’ Club of London would be greatly appreciated.
