McCOURT, Ruth Boyd (Aird) - In loving memory of Ruth Boyd (Aird) McCourt, 80 years, who passed away Wednesday morning, January 2nd, 2008 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph Site. Beloved wife of Lawrence “Larry“ McCourt predeceased 1976. Loving mother of Linda (husband Bernie Frohlick) of Sudbury, Cheryl (husband Ken Ristimaki) of Kimberly, B.C., Susan Benoit and Tom (wife Karen) both of Lively. Cherished grandmother of Tracey, Laura, Jody, Tom Todd, Lisa, Tom John, Megan and great grandchildren Jordan, Tiffany, Jonah, Kiley, Brodie and Marlee. Dear daughter of Tommy and Ruby Aird both predeceased. Dear sister of Jean predeceased (husband Todd Sloan of Jackson's Point). Born in Scotland, she was a veteran, serving overseas during World War II as an entertainer, Ruth was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Onaping Falls Branch. She will be lovingly remembered by family and friends, especially for her wonderful sense of humour. Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Sunday, January 6th, 2008 at 7 p.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. (Friends may call 2 - 4 or after 6 p.m. Sunday).
