SCOTT, William Arnold - At Kingston on Monday January 7, 2008, William Scott in his 93rd year. Leaving his beloved wife Yvonne after 67 years together, daughters Jay & Clare, son Nick (Yolande), predeceased by brothers Lorne, Elmer and Keith. He had an interesting background. Born of missionary parents in Korea, he lived in Manchuria, with schooling in Seoul, Korea and Kobe, Japan, University of Toronto and London School of Economics in England. He served with the R.A.F. during the war, and on returning to Toronto joined an Air Survey Company. He worked in Montreal, Quebec City and Ottawa and retired to Kingston. He will be remembered for his efforts to preserve for posterity the rich history and heritage of Kingston. A Private Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at the St. James Chapel of St. Mary's Cathedral. Rite of Committal with Prayers at St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends are invited to the Memorial Service to be held at the ROBERT J. REID & SONS FUNERAL HOME, “The Chapel on the Corner“, 309 Johnson Street, (at Barrie Street), on Saturday April 5, 2008 at 11 am. In memory of William, donations to The Kingston Interval House, P.O.
