HARRIS, Doreen Merle (Dunn) - It is with great sadness that the family of Doreen Harris announces her death on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the Bluewater Health Centre in the loving arms of her family at the age of 77. Doreen was the beloved wife of the late William Earl Harris (1993) and loving mother of Ronald Harris of New York, Dayle MacDonald and her husband Gerry of Corunna, Cathy Harris and partner Rick Foster and Terry Harris and friend James Poland all of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Gareth Harris, Kally and Colin Prentice, Ashley and Sara Butterfield, Stephen Butterfield, Brian and Buffy MacDonald, Craig and Corine MacDonald and great grandmother of Olivia Prentice, Micayla and Jocelyn Butterfield, Hayden, Seamus, Chase and Ceager MacDonald. Also survived by her brother Frank Dunn and wife Sally, sister-in-law Kay Rhude and husband Orval, Helen Harris and Ina Harris. Predeceased by parents John and Norah Dunn (Green), six sisters, two brothers. Doreen worked for many years as a Dental Assistant to Dr. Pearlman, was a Brownie Leader for the Girl Scouts and was a volunteer at the Blood Donor Clinic through the Red Cross. Cremation has taken place. A graveside interment of ashes will be held at Lakeview Cemetery on Monday, January 14th at 11:00 a.m. with Sister Ann MacDonald officiating. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Joseph's Hospice (cheques only, please). Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME.
