SILVA, Maria Ester - Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Friday, January 11, 2008 at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital. Beloved wife for 45 years of Custodio. Loving mother of Manuel (Darcie), Tony (Michelle) and Lisa (David Lloyd). Cherished grandmother and “vovo“ of the late Evan, Kirsten, Emily, Tegan, Matthew, Zachary, Colby, Meghan and Gia. Dearest daughter of Manuel and Emilia Rodrigues. Sister of Alice Branco and the late Maria da Conceicao. Dearly missed by her nieces Maria da Conceicao, Bela and Zeza and nephew Antonio. Friends will be received at the TOWNSHIP CHAPEL of the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOMES, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Dr. and Taylor Kidd Blvd.) on Sunday, January 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Rosary Prayers at the Funeral Home, Sunday evening at 7:15 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Division St. on Monday January 14 at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal with prayers in St. Mary's Cemetery. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to UHKF Southeastern Ontario Cancer Centre in memory of Maria.
