Willem “Bill” Daniel Rouw passed away peacefully, on Friday, December 21, 2007, at St. Mary’s General Hospital, at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Laurel “Laurie” Mallett-Rouw and the late Gail Rouw, loving father of Michelle and Ed Vieitas and Michael and Ann Rouw, cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, much loved stepfather of Daryl and Mara Mallett, Darcy and Maria Mallett, and Ritchie and Shammi Mallett, dear brother of John Rouw of Walkerton, Rennie and Isabel of Okanogan Falls, B. C., Bram and Bunty Rouw of Bayfield, Betty de Jonge of Windsor, Ann and Al Reinstra of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Nellie and Don Weick of London, Jean and Roy Slumskie of Chesley and Marie and Peter Guite of Hanover. Predeceased by his parents Willem and Neeltje, brothers Jim, Don, Jake, Cor and sister Koos Wouters. A memorial service to celebrate Bill’s life was held at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener, Ontario on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 11 am, with interment to follow at a later date at the Springvale Cemetery near Hagersville, Ontario.
