WALSH, Mrs. Gladys May - Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive, on Thursday, January 3rd, 2008 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert “R.J.“ Walsh (2002). Dear mother of Robert J. Walsh Jr. (Sandra) and Mary Jane “Dolly“ Whatley (Rick) all of Peterborough. Dear sister of Howard Stone (Vivian) of Kingston, George Stone (June) and Harold Stone both of Toronto, Gordon Stone of New Brunswick. Predeceased by sisters Alice Bell and Ruth Skabernicky and one brother Charlie Stone. Survived by sister in law Pearl Stone of Aurora. Loving grandmother of Ricky, Tracey (Todd), Shane (Matthew). Great grandmother of Danny, Taylor and Laurie. In accordance with Gladys' wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no service. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the P.R.H.C. Foundation. The family would like to thank the EMS drivers, Emergency Department Nurses, Dr. Ferrier, Dr. Black and the Nurses of Hutch 2 East to whom we owe the greatest debt of gratitude for their compassionate and totally professional care.
