FORBES, Margaret Isobel (Thompson) (Retired RNA Hotel Dieu Hospital) - Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital, on Sunday Dec 23rd, 2007 in her 95th year. Margaret “Peggy“ Forbes, was born in Halifax, NS, July 1, 1913 the daughter of the late William and Annie Thompson (Perry). She was married to the late Donald A. Forbes; In addition to her husband; she was predeceased by her sons Ronald and Robert, brothers, Arthur, Cecil, Ronald, William, Jarvis, and her sister Ruby. She is survived by her sons Donald (Joan) Halifax, John (Margaret) Kingston, her daughters Margaret Kazma (Gerald) Naperville, IL, and Carol Vold (Kenneth) Coalhurst, AB; her daughter-in-law, Margaret (Robert) Kingston, her brother James, Halifax, 12 Grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Friends will be received at the Central CHAPEL of the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOMES, (613546-5454) , 49 Colborne St. (at Clergy) on Wednesday, December 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in will be celebrated in St Joseph's Church, Palace Rd. on Thursday, Dec 27th at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal St. Mary's Cemetery. For those wishing, donations may be made to the St. Joseph's Building Fund or the charity of your choice in Margaret's name would be appreciated by the family.
