SHRUMM, Marion Alice - Peacefully at Trillium Villa, on Saturday, December 22, 2007, Marion Alice Shrumm, formerly of Halifax, Nova Scotia, age 85 of Sarnia. Loving wife and best friend of Leonard G. Shrumm. Daughter of the late Capt. Wm. and Martha Sitland, Halifax (N.S.). Loving mother of son John and his wife Valerie, Robert and his wife Carol and Gary and his wife Janet. Dear grandmother of Jennifer, Matthew, Derek, Holly and Leigh. Also survived by several nephews and nieces as well as great nephews and nieces and sister-in-law Sue Sitland of Halifax and Betty and her husband Glen Haggitt of Florida. Predeceased by brothers William, John, Alex and Fred and sister Catherine all of Halifax as well as four brothers and one sister killed in the Halifax Explosion. Marion was retired from Bell Telephone. She was a member of Grace United Church and U.C.W. She was also a member of the Eastern Star #6. Funeral Service was held at Grace United Church, on Monday December 24, 2007. Interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery.
