OBITUARY AND THANKS WILLIAM (BILL) PARKER MOORE 1930-2007 CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER (RCAF) RETIRED BILL died suddenly at his home on Sidney Street December 14, 2007. He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Bertha (Bert) Baldwin Moore of fifty years. Beloved son of the late Alice Moore, Dartmouth, NS. Predeceased by brother, Alan Moore, Dartmouth, NS. Fondly remembered by Roger & Edwina Scott of Dartmouth, NS; Ned and Dorina Baldwin of Blue Cove, NB; Mabel & Gilles Gionet of Manitouwadge, ON and several nieces and nephews. Bill was educated in Halifax. In 1949 enlisted in the RCAF and was stationed in 2 Fighter Wing France, Moncton, Downsview, Goose Bay, Ottawa, AWU Decimmomannu Italy and finally Trenton from where Bill retired in 1984. Former member of Quinte Curling Club, CFB Trenton Golf Club, member of St. Michael's Church, current President of Kiwanis Club of Sagonaska. Volunteer with Community Care, Cdn Cancer Society and ALS. Bill loved to sing with a passion. The former Melody Bells singing group was the highlight of each week. Celebration of Bill's life with a Mass by Fr Richard Whalen, was preceded by an outstanding Eulogy given by a special friend, Bob Beddie. St. Michael's choir provided beautiful music; Ann Bunnett & Peter McCabe shared the readings, and the Kiwanis Club of Sagonaska provided Bill's pallbearers. A special thank you to each one of you. Appreciation to Burke's Funeral Home for professional service and St. Michael's CWL for providing a fitting reception. My most sincere appreciation to the hundreds of friends who attended the visitation, the Mass or made donations to BGH, sent cards or phone calls.
