COLITTI, Domenico Antonio - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Domenico Colitti on Monday, January 7th, 2008 in his 73rd year. Domenico, beloved husband of Elisa (nee Tamilia); Loving father of Teresa Hayes and her husband Paul, Maria Colitti-Goulart and her husband Gabriel, and Ralph Colitti and his wife Dianne; Cherished “Nonno“ of Anthony, Nicholas, Christina, Alexandra, Marissa, and Daniel. Dear brother of Carmela and Pietro D'Onofrio of Welland, Sister Bianca A. Colitti O.F.M., and Nicoletta Pizzacalla both of Italy. He is predeceased by his parents Raffaele and Teresina Colitti of Italy, brother, Pasquale Colitti (Maria Giovanna) and sister, Filomena Trolio (Gaetano). Domenico, son-in-law of the Late Francesco and Esterina Tamilia, brother-in- law of the late Pasquale Tamilia, the late Conrad Tamilia, the late Guiseppe Tamilia. Brother-in-law Gino (Evelyn) Tamilia, Yolanda (Dave) Gould, Angela Tamilia, and Mary Merchante. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Domenico was a longtime employee of the former Brant County Board of Education. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed spending time with his loving grandchildren and friends in his retirement. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL“, 96 West Street, Brantford, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with Parish Prayers at 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, Brantford, on Friday, January 11th, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. followed by interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
