Walicki, Boleslaw (Bruno) - Passed away at the Blind River District Health Centre, Blind River, Tuesday, January 1, 2008. Dear husband of the late Helena Walicki. Dear father of Stefan Walicki, Walter Walicki , Helen Quesnel (Remi), Mary Burling (Larry) and the late Stanley Walicki (Bernadette). Dear grandfather of Ryan, Nadine, Tracey, Nicholas, Matthew, Brad, Mark, Jeff, Kris, Christine, Helena and Bernadette. Dear great grandfather of Hannah, Christian, Veronica, Henry and Jay-Dee. Boleslaw immigrated to Canada in 1951 from Poland and came to Blind River that same year. He loved his family very much and was proud to be a Legionnaire and a Canadian. He was an avid gardener. Funeral mass was held Friday, January 4th at 10:00 am from St James the Greater in Blind River with Fr. Jim Ketzler officiating. Spring interment in Hillside Cemetery.
