PERRON, Philip - At North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, Saturday, January 5, 2008. Philip Perron beloved husband of Bernadette Perron (nee Groulx) in his 81st year. Dearly loved father of Gerald, Paul, Emile (Liliane), Lionel, Lorraine Carr (Kerry),Gisele Ayotte (Ron) and Jean-Paul Perron. Lovingly remembered by eleven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Marthe Amyotte (Jean), Moise, Yvonne Gravelle, Raymond (Claire), Cecile Hawman, Roger (Adrienne) and Jeanne Degagne (Roger). Predeceased by his parents Clara and Azarias Perron, sisters Alida Guillemette, Marie Gauthier and brothers Joe, Oscar and Gabe. Philip was proprietor of the Tim-Br Mart, Astorville, which he opened in 1955. He had a great love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing and trapping. Philip was a very meticulous wood worker in his retirement years. Family receiving friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Tuesday from 2- 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. and Wednesday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St. Thomas d'Aquin, Astorville, Wednesday at 2 p.m. Spring interment Astorville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Bay General Hospital ( Renal Unit) would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
