COUTURE CARON, Bertha - Bertha Marie Couture (nee Caron) age 91 died peacefully at Copper Terrace Longterm Care Facility on Wednesday January 9, 2008 with family by her side. Born in Pain Court on May 25, 1916, wife of the late Ovila Couture (August 30, 2007). Daughter of the late Alphonse and Edith Caron (nee Bell). She was a member of the Le Club D'Amitié and the Dâme of Ste. Anne de Pain Court. She will be sadly missed by her four children; Marie Chauvin of Pain Court, Madeleine Boilard and husband Normand of Welland, Orville and wife Dora and Jean Paul and wife Janie of Dover. Loving mémère of 10 grandchildren; Michelle Patrick, Mark and Michael Beecroft, Lieutenant David Boilard, Normand Boilard, Julie Boilard Tate, Jeannine Bolohan, Christopher Couture, Jacqueline Roberts and Jeffery Couture and by 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are sister Rita Napper (late John) of Chatham and one brother Fred and wife Gloria Caron of Dover. She is predeceased by sisters Loretta Caron (2001), Elmire Couture (2006), a brother-in-law Ernest Couture (1985), a grandson Michel Couture (1993) and a son-in-law Marc Chauvin (2004). Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m on Friday January 11, 2008 where Parish Prayers will be offered on Friday at 3:00 pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday January 12, 2008 at 10 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Pain Court. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
