JAMES, Charles “Chic“ Barclay - Peacefully, with his family at his side at Hastings Manor on Monday December 31, 2007 in his 88th year. Chic James formerly of Oriole Park Avenue, Belleville. Long time Employee of Northern Electric (Nortel). Beloved husband of the late Mary James (Settle). Predeceased by his daughter Sharron. Father of Brian of Kingston, Doug of Belleville and Laurie Stickle (Fred) of Belleville. Grandfather of Brad (Liz), Melissa, Blair, Karina, Brian Jr. and Zachary. Great-grandfather of Janessa, Alexis, Noah and Marlee. Loving brother of Helen Curwood (late Robert). Uncle of Bob (Olie) and Bruce (Eileen). The family will receive friends at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME 150 Church Street, Belleville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 4, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Internment at Belleville Cemetery. Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society or Hastings Manor Foundation.
