SOPAZ, Joseph (Retired Military) - Passed away peacefully at QHC-Trenton Memorial Hospital on Sunday, December 30, 2007 in his 86th year. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and resided in Bayside Ontario. Beloved husband of Eileen Sopaz for 60 years. Lovingly remembered by his son Gary Sopaz & his wife Trudy of Roslin and their children Jesse, Samual and Zachary; his son Richard Sopaz & his wife Barbara and their children Kyle & Jane of Carrying Place. Predeceased by sister Francis Lipka of Winnipeg; remembered by brother Leo & his wife Lilian Sopaz & family of Hamilton. Predeceased by his daughter Beverly Rodenkirchen & surviving husband Michael Rodenkirchen and their children Darren & his wife Lindsay of Toronto and Daniel D'Andrea & her husband Derek of Las Vegas, Nevada. The family will receive friends at the WEAVER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME - West Chapel, 170 Dundas St., Trenton, on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Peters Church, Trenton on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 11 am. Father Brian McNally officiating. Cremation to follow.
