WILSON, Edith Eileen (nee Graves) - Peacefully, at the John Noble Home, on December 30, 2007, in her 87th year. Daughter of the late Ensley and Ethel Graves, Edith was born and raised in Scotland, Ontario before settling in Brantford with her husband, William A. Wilson, who predeceased her in 1953. She was also predeceased by her brother Lorne H. Graves (2007). Edith leaves her daughters Linda (Thomas) Mokrzycki of Mississauga and Gloria (Douglas) Birdsell of Hamilton. She was a dear grandmother to Julie (Robert) Mills and Jeffrey Mokrzycki and proud great grandmother of Hayley Mills. Because of health problems related to MS, Edith was a longtime resident of the John Noble Home, where she was lovingly cared for by the caregivers on Grand Terrace Wing. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Wednesday January 2, 2008 from 12:30-1:30 p.m A Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 pm. A private family interment will be held at Scotland Cemetery. Donations may be made in Edith's memory to the MS Society or to the John Noble Home.
