MCKIM, Garry K. - a resident of R.R.# 2 Kent Bridge, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Monday December 31, 2007 at the age of 69. Born in Zone Twp., son of the late Fred and Pearl (Garrison) McKim and step-son of the late Alva McKim. Beloved husband of Alice (Humphrey) McKim. Loving father of Kevin McKim of London, Karen Wilbur and her husband Jeff of Tupperville. Loving grandfather of Kirsten McKim, Erin and Tyler Wilbur. Dear brother of Harold and his wife Jeanette McKim of Edmonton, and step-brother of Eileen Mathewson of Bothwell and Doris Stinson of Dresden. Dear son-in-law of Bob and Bernice Humphrey of Chatham. Sadly missed by brothers and sisters-in-law Ron and Verna Rich of Bothwell, John and Joanne Humphrey of Thamesville, Bob and Maxine Helmer of Duart, Bob and Linda Humphrey of Bright. The McKim family will receive friends at the JOHN C. BADDER FUNERAL HOME, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Wednesday evening 7-9pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday , January 4, 2008 at 11:00am with Rev. Derek Parry of the Thamesville United Church officiating. Interment Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society, Thamesville United Church, or Shriners Hospital for Children - Canada.
