CAMPBELL, Kenneth Alexander - WW11 member of Royal Rifles, deployed to Hong Kong and prisoner of war for 44 months. 60 Year member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Long time worker for the Poppy Fund. Member of the Leisuretime Club and Happy Gang Seniors, passed away peacefully, at General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood, on Tuesday December 25th, 2007, in his 87th year. Ken, beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Johnston). Loving father of Charles and his wife Susan and Peter and his wife Tamie, all of Collingwood. Dear grampa of Kevin, Melissa, Scott and Sarah. Dear brother of Margaret Witty of Manitoulin Island. Predeceased by three sisters and four brothers who all grew up on the home farm in Craigleith. According to Mr. Campbell's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced in the spring. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 63 Poppy Fund, or the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
