SHAPPERT, Carl Kenneth George - Peacefully at Price Edward County Memorial Hospital on Friday, January 4th, 2008 in his 79th year. Carl Shappert of Belleville and previously of Tweed, son of the late George & Emma Shappert. Beloved wife of Shirley Shappert of Belleville. Loving father of Warren of Chicago, Dale (Elaine) of Georgetown and Dawn (Robert) Mitchell of Carpentersville, Il. Cherished grandfather of Ken, Taylor and Jake Shappert and Ethan & Mackenzie Mitchell. Carl is survived by his sisters; Florence Bessel of Thunder Bay and Jacqueline Brenner of Yorkton, SK and by his brother Walter (Mabel) Schappert of Vancouver. Friends are invited to call at the STEELE FUNERAL HOME, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (968-2273) on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (516 Victoria Ave. Belleville) on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 1:00 o'clock.
