MONTAG, Francis L. “Frank“ - Went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday January 4, 2008, at the North Bay General Hospital. For the past 54 years Frank has been the beloved husband of Leona. The proud and loving father of Michael and his wife Susan of Callander and Joanne Parolin and her husband Terry of North Bay. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kevin (Kristin), Cory (Monica) and Brandon Montag, and Jayme, Andrea and Jonathan Parolin and his great grandchildren Yasmina, Riley, Cowen and Leila Montag. Dear brother of Jim (Louise) of London, Rosemary Strome, Harry, and Margaret Bastin (Gerry) all of Waterloo. A proud veteran of the Korean War Frank worked for the BF Goodridge Tire Company in Kitchener for many years. He moved his family north to North Bay in the 1970's owning and operating several small businesses. He continued to work as the bookkeeper for TE Parolin & Sons until the time of his death. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from city hall) on Monday evening January 7th from 7 to 9 p.m., then on Tuesday morning at the Nipissing Junction Gospel Hall from 10:00 a.m. until time for services at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
