SHORTT, Fenna Alberdina - Belleville, Ontario. Passed away peacefully at Quinte Gardens Retirement Residence in her 87th year, born in Holland. Predeceased by her loving husband Leon Shortt. Daughter of the late Alko Kampen and Diever Koosge Strobos of Holland. Loving and cherished mother of Barbara (Gary) Nelson of Corbyville, Douglas Shortt (Ronda) of Belleville and Frank (Karen) Shortt of RR#4 Stirling. Dearly loved Oma to her Grandchildren; Erin, Erica (Geoff), Jeff, Brady, Dionne, Bethany, Dylan and Great Grandchild Lochlyn. Loved by her brother Harm from Holland, and predeceased by sister-in-law Maryanne, also predeceased by her brother Alko. Sister-in-law to Ruby Short, Albert and Doris Short, Cecil and Rita Short, Kathleen Derochie and Wendy Short. Predeceased by Ray and Dorothy Short, Wilfred Short, Lenard Derochie and Dale Short. Loved by her many nieces and nephews in Canada and Holland. We will honour our mother by celebrating her life as we live ours with all the values and love of life she gave to us. With respect for the family's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to call at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 68 North Front Street, Belleville on Thursday evening December 27th, from 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Friday December 28th, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. (with visitation also one hour prior to service). As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
