Lesley Jane MISENER

FUCHS, Lesley Jane (nee Misener) - of Swift Current Saskatchewan, died December 20, 2007 at the Swift Current Regional Hospital. she was 57. Lesley was born in Brantford Ontario, June 23, 1950. She was predeceased by her father Leslie Misener in 1976, her mother Phyllis Misener (nee Pickering) in 1998, her brother Douglas in 1947 and her sister Carol Nichols in 2004. In 1971 at a barbecue, Lesley met her future husband Al and on June 10, 1972 they were wed. Soon after they made their way west to Regina Sask where their children Erin, James and Amy came into their life. In 1991 they made their way further west to Gull Lake, Sask and then eventually ended up in Swift Current. It was in Swift Current where Lesley worked right along side her husband Al in starting and developing their Real Estate business. Through out all the years of business, no decision was made without Lesley's approval or input. Lesley enjoyed going to work everyday. She was in charge of tenant relations and it was a job she did well and took a lot of pride in. When someone came to the office they always ended up staying a while to visit with her and that was exactly the type of person she was. She was a people person always enjoying a visit and a chat. She was a good mother to her children and had a very special relationship with her daughters Erin and Amy. Lesley loved to read a good book and also enjoyed talking with her sister Donna on the phone recapping the latest episode of Jeopardy. She loved her grandchildren Wyatt, Hunter and Tristan and her face always gleamed when she saw them. It was not uncommon to see her grandchildren with her at work. She loved to buy them candy and spoil them. Lesley was diagnosed in July with cancer and the past 5 months were some of the happiest and memorable times her and Al had. She got to do what she wanted when she wanted and a trip to Ontario to see her sister was the icing on her cake. Surviving Lesley is her husband of 35 years Al Fuchs along with her daughter Erin Fuchs (Scott Mitchell) Amy White (Micheal) and James Fuchs. Also surviving her are her grandchildren Wyatt Fuchs, Hunter Fuchs and Tristan Mitchell and her sister Donna Ashby of Paris Ontario, whom she was very close with. A celebration of Lesley's life will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Friday December 28, 2007 at 10:00am with Father Sathiadas Anthony officiating. In her memory friends can make a donation to The Mental Health Association or The Canadian Cancer Society. Warren's Funeral Home is in care of arrangements. 10942375
