BOURNE, Gordon Kenneth - passed away suddenly at his home in Mount Pleasant on Friday, December 14, 2007 in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Joanne (Gardner) whom he married May 18, 1968. Loving father of Susan Bourne and friend Nathan Hatton of Kitchener and Sandy Bourne & friend Sebastien Cabana of Vancouver. Gordon is survived by his mother Isabel Bourne of New Hamburg, his sister Pat Ford of Oakville, his brothers Wayne (Judy) of Ayr and Robert (Jill) of Tavistock. Predeceased by his father Wally Bourne on January 24, 2006. Gord was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 105, Hamilton and recently retired in June 2007. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at the GLENDINNING FUNERAL HOME 40 William St., Plattsville on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 1:30pm. Reception to follow at the Washington United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Geographic Society or charity of one's choice (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family. 10937632
