METCALFE, Betty Joan - Peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital - McLaren Site, on Tuesday, December 18, 2007. Betty Joan Christianson, was the beloved companion of Robert “Bob“ Vanasse and the wife of the late Russell Metcalfe, she was 72 years old. She was the loving mother of Sam Metcalfe of North Bay and Paul Metcalfe and his wife Colleen and their children Brady and Chelsea of Astorville. Dearly loved sister of Eleanore Humphreys, Contance Christianson, Murray Christianson and his wife Donna and Brian Christianson and his wife Pat. A Memorial Service will be held in the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL on Friday, December 21 at 2:00 PM. Cremation will take place at the Forest Lawn Cemetery and Crematorium. If desired, donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. 10939956
