John Stephane Petrycia May 16, 1933 - March 31, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) 70 years, unexpectedly on March 31, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Claire (nee Tosti) (2002). Loving father of John and wife Julie. Dear grandfather of Zachary. John will be remembered by several nieces and nephews, many good neighborhood friends and also missed in a special way by Carol. John was a G.M. retiree after over 40 years of service, had been a supervisor in the Gauge Department, was a collector of classic cars and a member of many classic car clubs. Visiting Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Prayers Friday at 8:30 p.m followed by a sharing time. The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 3rd at 9:30 a.m. from The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830) to St. Gregory the Great Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Pat Fuerth will be the celebrant. Cremation. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or to the Heart and Stroke Fund would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of John Petrycia in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 26, 2004. All are welcome.
