ST. AMOUR, René - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, November 17, 2007 at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site. René St-Amour of Apple Hill; age 72 years. Beloved husband of Gisèle St-Amour (nee Ouimet). Loving father of Robert St- Amour (Michèle Joly), Ghislaine Carrier (Yves), Ginette Peeters (Henry) and Michel St-Amour (Julie Samson). René will be greatly missed by his six grandchildren, Justin, Vanessa, Jessica, Matthieu, Eric and Sophie. Dear son of the late Armand St- Amour and the late Aldea Lalonde. Brother of Aline St-Amour (Louis Leznoff), Guy St- Amour (Gabrièle), Gérald St-Amour (Thérèse) and brother-in-law of Olivette St- Amour. Predeceased by his sisters, Marguerite St-Amour and Rita Martin and brothers, Roger St-Amour and Claude St- Amour. René will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family. In respecting René's wishes, all funeral arrangements were private and for family only. At the request of his family, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated. As a memorial to René, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
