ELLIOTT, Albert - At the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Thursday, December 6, 2007. Albert Allan Elliott of Long Sault; age 83 years. Life friend of Joan Evason of Long Sault and by a previous marriage, Ruth Elliott of Exeter, Ontario. Dear father of Colleen Elliott (Bob Rowe) of Hensall, Ontario and Joan Riddell (Bill) of Iqaluit, Nunavut. Predeceased by one son Stephen Elliott. Cherished grandfather of Shannon McGavin (Jeff) and great-grandfather of Jacob, Mackenzie and Teegan McGavin. Predeceased by one grandson, Todd Rice. Dear son of the late Ernest Elliott and the late Julia (Pekeski) Elliott. Dear brother of Gloria Foster (Neil) and Leonore Elliott both of Woodstock. Will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation. A celebration of Albert's life will be held in Exeter, Ontario followed by interment in Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Toronto at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Veterans' Affairs would be appreciated by the family.
