Mrs. Sonoye Kariya September 19, 1917 - March 31, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Richmond Funeral Home Born September 19th, 1917 and passed away peacefully in Minoru Residence, Richmond, March 31st, 2004. Predeceased by her husband Yoshio and son George. Survived by her loving family, sons Victor (Suzanne) and Allan; daughter Betty (Yoshio), Gloria, Florence and Eleanor; grandsons Bradley and Daryl; granddaughter Phoebe; sisters Toshiko Sakauye and Chiyoko Kariya; sisters-in-law Ayako, Tsuneko and Kimiko; many nieces, nephews and friends. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bernadette Yuen and all the staff of Minoru Residence who gave special loving care. Funeral Service to take place on Monday, April 5th at the Steveston Buddhist Temple, 4360 Garry Street, Richmond at 11:00 a.m. Bishop O. Fujikawa officiating. Koden and flowers gratefully declined.
