LEGER, Emile - With great sadness, we announce the passing of Emile Leger on December 22, 2007 at the age of 86. He died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Cecile (Miron) and predeceased by one son, Lucien. Wonderful father to Wilfred of Paris, France, Jacqueline of Alexandria, Robert (Simone) of Cornwall, Denise (Ron), Jeannette (Rolland) and Aline (Dave) all of Vermont, Louise of Sunderland, Maurice (Diane) of Clagary, Eldege (Guylaine) of Sunderland, Jean (Nicole) and Guy both of Alexandria and Michel (Elfie) of Germany. He was the proud Grampa of 29 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He is survived by sisters, Rita (Aime) Decoste of Cornwall and Therese Viau of Embrun and sisters-in-law, Rita Leger of Toronto, Rita Leger of Cornwall, Loraine Leger and Elaine Hoffman both of Toronto and brother-in-law, Paul Beaupre of Green Valley. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). The family will be in attendance from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral on Saturday, December 29th, 2007 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. followed by cremation.
