Mrs. Charity "Jackie" Washington October 02, 1928 - April 02, 2004 Charity Jacqueline: Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday April 2, 2004. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence Washington. She is survived by her daughters Barbara Wilson (Larry), Deborah Washington (Gerald Shoalts), and Tracy Washington (Kent Griffin), grandchildren Sonja and Stephen Wilson and Paula Washington, her sisters Madeline Wright (William) and Geraldine Webb, brother Issac Caines, and nieces Susan Wright and Linda Ginn. Predeceased by her parents John Caines and Elsie Templeton and her sisters Mabel Companion and Margaret Parsons. Friends will be received at the Central Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy) on Wednesday April 14 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The Memorial Service will take place in our Chapel at 11 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Kingston Humane Society or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
