John "Pete" Peter Stirling March 20, 1927 - April 02, 2004 Funeral arrangements by L. G. Wallace Funeral Home. Peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital, on Friday, April 2, 2004, Pete passed away at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of the late Eva Stirling (1995). Predeceased by daughter Linda (2004) and survived by husband Joe Kartonchik of Hamilton. Loving father of Doug and wife Mary of Hamilton, Jan and husband Jim Wolfe of Grimsby, Jim and wife Sharon of Chatsworth and Sandy Guy of Caledonia. Caring papa of John, Shari, Andrew, Vanessa, Christina, Darryl, Matthew, Nicole, Melissa, Sarah, Michelle, and great-grandfather to Lauren. Beloved brother of Faye Johnson of Hamilton. Pete was a retiree from Firestone after 40 years of service and a member of St. Andrew's Lodge #593 A.F. and A.M. GRC. Visitation will be held at L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (905-544-1147) on Monday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. from the chapel. Cremation to follow.
