John Kindrat June 01, 1919 - April 04, 2004 JOHN KINDRAT After six months of painfull cancer, Dad passed away on Sunday, April 04, 2004. Dad was born on June 01, 1919, in Sifton, MB. He was predeceased by wife, Jeanne Kindrat (Leclerc) on January 26, 2004, by his parents Dimetro & Anna Kindrat; sisters, Margaret (Larry Pambrun) and Jay (Norman Boushy); brothers, Peter (Peggy), Andy (Cecile) and Bill (Terry). Dad will be lovingly remembered by sons, Raymond (Vickie) and Larry (Linda); daughters, Lorraine (Rene Hebert) and Sharon (Bruce Urski), grandsons: Jeff, Shawn, Todd, Troy, Trevor, Daniel and granddaughter Michelle (Thomas Motyka). He is survived by sister Caroline, brothers Archie (Rose) of California, Mickey (Lena) of B.C.; also close extended families of Vic and Rose Hercun, Janine and Bill Frovich, Gerry and Elaine Leclerc, Armand Leclerc, Robert and Debbie Leclerc, Johnny Leclerc and Gisele Leclerc. Dad went to war overseas at the age of 21, He married Jeanne Leclerc, when he returned, on October 03, 1945, and they resided in St. Boniface all their married life (58 years). Dad worked with C.N.R. until his retirement in 1981. He enjoyed golf, bowling, curling, playing cards and being with family. Dad helped with the building of Archwood Community Club and Holy Family Catholic Church. He was usher at Holy Cross Church. Our grateful thanks to our family doctor, Dr. P.G. Mehta and staff, all the staff of 6A South, St. Boniface Hospital, who treated Dad with such dignity and care. Thanks to Pastoral Care services, Chaplain Doug Kellough, who was always there. Thanks to 6A-7 South, social worker Jacqueline Olynquin who took time to see Dad and family. Thanks to the Palliative Care medicine team. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Cross Church, Dubuc and Traverse, on Wednesday April 7, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. with viewing at 1:30 p.m. Service to terminate at church. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date. Pallbearers will be his six grandsons.
