GIDNEY, Ivy Marion (nee Harris) - A lifelong resident of Welland, Ontario, Ivy passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 15, 2007 in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband Doug (2000) and her parents Albert & Mary Harris and her brother Albert. She is survived by her brother Bob (Kay), her nieces Tracy Harris and Linda Harris; nephews Keith Harris (Karen), Billy Harris, 4 great nieces and nephews (Jeffrey, Julie, Chad & Brad); and sisters-in-law Vera Gorham, Isabel Shorney and Mae Harris. Ivy was a special Godmother to Charlene Kereluk (Mike) and friend to Maureen Colavecchia (Angelo). Ivy was a member of St. David's Anglican Church, Welland Senior Citizen's Club, Port Robinson Senior's Club and Wesley Robins Social Club. A celebration of Ivy's life, conducted by Reverend Doctor John Course, will be held at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Thursday, December 20th at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. A reception will follow at St. David's Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. David's Anglican Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family. 10936143
