Elisabeth BESTEBREURTJE

COLENBRANDER, Elisabeth (nee Bestebreurtje) - Surrounded by her family, at Shalom Manor, Elisabeth Colenbrander was called home by her Lord on December 16th, 2007 at the age of 94 years. Liesbeth was born October 15th, 1913 in Rijsoord, the Netherlands and immigrated with her family to Canada in 1953 to settle in St. Catharines. In 1967 her husband John passed away after 26 years of marriage. She was much loved by her children Ineke and John Bezuyen, Sarah and John Cook, Christina and Jim Kelly, and Fred and Annette Colenbrander. She was adored by her 13 grandchildren Jeffrey (1967), Denise, Terry, Alan, Nigel, Elisa, Milon, Braden, Melissa, J.J., Anna-Marie, Jan-Tina, Johan, their spouses and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Covenant Christian Reformed Church at 278 Parnell Road in St.Catharines on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday morning between 10 and 10:45. You are invited to join them in a celebration of her life at 11 a.m. A private burial will follow at 1:30 in the afternoon at Victoria Lawn cemetery.
