BROWN, Leona (nee, Armstrong) - of Welland, at the Welland County General Hospital on Monday, December 17, 2007 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Vincent “Bob” Brown (2005). Loving mother of son Robert Brown (Nancy), daughter Eleanor Haydon (Ron) and adopted daughter, her niece Joyce Belansky (Joe) all of Welland. Cherished grandmother of Ron Haydon (Teresa), Doug Haydon, Jodi Cupolo (Joe), Shari Colquhoun (Jason), Sarah Hicks (Shawn) and Lisa Belansky and great-grandmother of Dean, Jane, Robert, Holly, Emma, Haydon and Abigale. Dear sister of Arnold Armstrong, and sister-in-law of Erma Armstrong, Norma Brown and Roy McKenzie. Also predeceased by her parents, grandson Gary, sister Marie McKenzie and brothers Joe Armstrong and Ken Armstrong. Mrs. Brown was born in Dunnville and lived in this area all her life. She enjoyed camping, country music, crocheting and crafting. Friends are invited to visit the family at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland, on Wednesday, December 19th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Pastor Rene Brochu of First Baptist Church will conduct the funeral service on Thursday, December 20th at 2:30 p.m. in the Cudney Chapel. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated by the family. 10937750
